This post is about the second day of the 2E3 Chalet party at the Aranda Country Club. I arrived at the NTUC Down Town Eastern at around 8.00am but had dragged a little here and there until I joined the group. The main activity on that day was cycling,which was terrible for me as I was the only one who did not know how to ride a bike...at all. I haven't touched a bike since elementary school and that was the 4-wheeled one where balance is not required. But i made up my mind to learn on that day,although I felt rather inferior. But before that most of us went to the fast food restaurant "Burger King" to feast.(Burger King is actually a global chain of fast-food restaurant using...well hamburgers as their main selling point).Over there were seated many....different people which I will probably not see in my school for quite a while. Anyway soon after we trekked at a seemngly unending road until we rented bikes to cycle around in this area known as the Pasir-Ris Park which was very close to the ocean. I really have to respect Nicholas Tay(www.definedblurs.blogspot.com) for his patience and willingness to teach me how to cycle.Somehow I cant seem to peddle,the dumb thing wont balance,and the freaking gear keeps breaking off,it was probably the most painful experience ever,but somehow its fun,and somehow I have finally experienced the true fun of the real world instead of just conjuring spells in a fantasy land. It was really exciting,and after many hours of training I could only cycle short distances,but oh well its a good start for someone who hadnt touched a bike before.Most of the day was spent on cycling,but I had some fun time playing a warcraft 3 map known as Defense Of The Ancients(DoTa) for quite a while before our barbeque.

Defense of the Ancients (often referred to as DotA) is a custom scenario for Warcraft III:The Frozen Throne, based on the "Aeon of Strife" map for Starcraft. The objective of the scenario is to destroy the opponents' "Ancient". The two teams' ancients are heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.[The scenario was developed with the "World Editor" of Warcraft III:Reign Of Chaos, and was updated upon the release of the Warcraft expansion The Frozen Throne. There have been many variations of the original concept; currently, the most popular is DotA Allstars,[ which has been maintained by several authors during development.
Since its release, Allstars has become a feature at several worldwide tournaments, including Blizzard Entertainment's Blizzcon and the Asian World Cyber Games, as well as the Cyberathlete Amateur and CyberEvolution leagues; Gamasutra declared that DotA was perhaps the most popular "free, non-supported game mod in the world".The map has gone on to influence other maps and games, including the upcoming strategy game Demigod.

Anyway I had gotten rather addicted and kept striving to achieve a Godlike Streak,resulting in me muttering many swear words. Anyway I had stayed up really late...so late that I cant even imagine how I did so,before I made the biggest mistake of my life. Oblivious to my surroundings,I had snapped a picture of the class who stayed behind,without switching off the flash,and that really pissed them off,well I think so anyway and it ruined the whole day of farming for reputation,it destroyed everything. Sigh now I just hope it will die out soon.
